All you need to know about wiring in your Delta!
Wiring a heated helmet to your snowmobile is straightforward. Follow these steps:
Locate the Accessory Plug: Remove the hood of your snowmobile and find the accessory plug, usually located near the wiring harness behind the headlight
Prepare the Wiring Kit: Use the included wiring harness or purchase a heated shield wiring kit that includes a power cord with a fuse and connectors. Make sure the kit is compatible with your snowmobile model
Connect the Wires:
Splice the Power Cord: Use a wire splicer to connect the power cord from the kit to the accessory plug. Ensure you use shrink tubes with solder and adhesive for a secure connection
Apply Dielectric Grease: Apply dielectric grease to the connections to prevent corrosion
Secure the Wiring: Route the power cord along the handlebars and secure it with zip ties to prevent it from getting tangled or damaged.
Test the Connection: Plug in your heated helmet and start your snowmobile to ensure the helmet heats up properly
