The 509 Aviator 2.0 Ignite S1 Goggle with 5MAG magnetic lens system changes the game completely. With Ignite S1 technology on this bestselling goggle, you get a wire-free lens that auto-heats as you ride for the ultimate in fog-eliminating performance. A low-profile integrated fan further enhances clarity by removing moist air from inside the frame. Add in the Aviator’s fully loaded features package and you get every optical advantage out there.



Operating from the battery pack itself: 


Power on into Auto, or orange mode by holding power button for 3 seconds. 


  • Auto mode and ON mode (Orange Light) for control and managing battery life (goggle continues to run ignite heating and fan)
  • The light inside the frame will also show the indication of the mode change. 


Switch to Manual, or blue mode by double clicking the battery power button.

  • Manual mode (Blue Light) allows the user to control the heated lens and built in fan
  • User can choose which substate (Hi/Med/Low) to run by pressing button once to toggle through low, medium, and high settings. 
    • A blinking indication will indicate the mode it is on

 

Power off by holding power button for 5 seconds. 




Operated from the 509 App (If available):


Power on into Auto, or orange mode by holding power button for 3 seconds. 

Power off   by holding power button for 5 seconds.


Other functionality within the app is using shown buttons within the app once connected via Bluetooth. 

Changing modes, the indication light on the battery will register the changed mode. 
The light inside the frame will also show the indication of the mode change. 


Once connected, click on the googles on the rider. A "Details" Box appears. Additional functionality is available to toggle the fan off and on, as well as the heater. 

Other stats are available as shown below: Battery level, inner temperate, and inner humidity.

CHARGING

- Flashing GREEN = charging in progress (0 to 99%)

- Solid GREEN = 100% charged

MODES

- Solid BLUE = MANUAL MODE (User Select) active

- Solid ORANGE = AUTO MODE (Sensor Select) active

BATTERY LIFE

- ≈8 hours in MANUAL MODE

- ≈4 hours in AUTO MODE

- Flashing RED 3 times = low power warning <20%

- If battery is above 20% indicator light will flash GREEN

 3 times every 15 minutes.

- Charging port located on battery pack.

  • The fan behavior differs between the two modes:

    Orange Mode

    • Starts with the fan running.
    • If you disconnect the lens, the fan will speed up as it no longer shares power with the heated lens.
    • In auto mode, the fan cycles on and off and does not run continuously.

  • Blue Mode

    • Humidity Thresholds: Low, Medium, High.
    • Starts with the fan off.
    • In manual mode, similar to orange mode, the fan cycles on and off and does not run continuously.
