• The 509 Commander Helmet Shields feature an infinity-style shield for maximum visibility, integrated communication systems, and advanced ventilation technology to keep the helmet fog-free

Should the protective film on the shield be removed before wear?

• Yes, the protective film on the shield should be removed before wearing the helmet. The film is intended to protect the shield during shipping and handling, and removing it ensures optimal visibility and performance.
• If your clear shield doesn't look clear upon arrival, remove the film on the inside of the helmet shield.

Can the breath deflector be removed and placed on another shield?

• No, the breath deflector is not meant to be removed because it cannot be placed on another shield.

Does the breath deflector come with screws?

• No, the breath deflector does not come with screws. We are aware that there is an additional piece missing from the deflector and are currently working on a solution.

How can I return the items with the missing breath deflector parts?

• You can set up a return for the two items you received. Please contact our customer service for assistance with the warranty return process.

What if my helmet needs a warranty exchange?

• If your helmet requires a warranty exchange, we can set that up for you. Please contact our customer service to initiate the warranty exchange process.

I Broke my helmet shield, what now? 

• A replacement shield will need to be ordered in wear your helmet. Unfortunately, our warranty policy doesn't cover any defects caused by user error. Learn more about how to change shields here.

I don't like my helmet, what do I do to return it? 

• If the helmet is within 30 day of purchase AND the helmet is in unused, and new condition, a return can be completed.
